Hi, I’m Emma.

I’m an art director, designer, and instructor.

And I like the users of my designs.

Do I know any of them, personally? Not really.

But my design process is driven but a fondness for my end-user and a desire for them to experience the relief of solving a problem they thought couldn’t be fixed, the joy of noticing something delightful/nostalgic/unexpected, or the satisfaction of finding themselves seen where they were previously ignored.

And if you’ve found yourself on this site (that I designed) then logic follows that I like you.

And I hope you find a solution, or joy, or at the very least know that I see you
(but not like . . . in a creepy way).

  • I like readers.

If your bedside table is constructed from your
to-be-read pile of books, I designed these for you.

  • I like designers.

If the alternative to good design is always bad design because there is no such thing as no design, then there are only two types of people in this world: good designers and bad designers. And I like both.

  • I like weirdos.

If you haven’t done a protection spell on your cat during the full moon while aligning your chakras and making a friendship bracelet, have really you lived?

  • I like myself.

It’s true what they say: You’re your own best (and sometimes worst) client. I don’t work for myself often, but when I do… well it looks exactly like this.

Important question:
Do you like me?

Join the movement . . . to employ me.
